I am a marketing professional who spends millions of corporate America’s marketing dollars on promoting various new products every year. I am also an amateur space travel enthusiast who is fascinated by the space tourism flights which start in late 2008 or sometime in 2009.

Here is my idea to get you on a flight to space

I want to form a group of people who are ready to take on an easy “mission to space” for a trip sponsor. (Don’t worry, this mission may be as easy as drinking a soft drink in space.)

In return for sponsoring a trip to space, my clients get to “show off” their product to our group, and select one member from our group to take on their mission to space.

Don’t worry, I hate spam, and promise not to misuse any of the information you provide me if you decide to participate in my idea.

Why companies may consider sponsoring your trip

Deep pocket companies are spending millions of dollars everyday trying to get you to see their products. This “mission to space” angle will enable potential sponsor companies to be one of the first companies to sponsor a trip to space. Just imagine the publicity they will get out of that.

I am already talking to one such sponsor company, and they have indicated that they will take me seriously once I show them that many people are interested.

What you will get as part of this group

If “mission to space” happens, our group will make history. No such thing has been done before.

I will enable all participants to get their very own FREE electronic certificate for being part of this historic event. The selected individual(s) for the mission will of course be made part of our history. How cool is that?

What I need from you

Simply join this group to get the attention of marketing companies. The bigger the group becomes the more seriously companies take us, so definitely tell your friends to join.

To ensure that I am covered, I want to make sure you understand that by joining this group you agree with the following:

1) The “mission to space” sponsor company reserves the right to select any legal demographic from our group as candidates for their “mission to space” sponsorship.

2) Any person under the age of 18 must get parental permission to participate in any sponsor’s promotion. (Of course, you can join this group now, and get permission later.)

3) If selected for this “mission to space”, you reserve the right to give away or sell your ticket to anyone who is qualified to fly to space. (This clause will cover you just incase you change your mind about going out to space.)

4) If there is no interest in this “mission to space” sponsorship from corporate America, I reserve the right to call this “mission to space” off, and go back to dreaming of another way to reach for the stars.

5) I will not be held liable for any mishaps or legal matters between you and the sponsor company, or the space travel company should you be selected or not selected for the mission.

6) Final terms of going up to space will be determined between the selected member(s) of this group and the sponsor company.

7) I can kick anyone out of this group if I deem the person to be acting in an inappropriate manner. (Inappropriate behavior may constitute distributing commercial literature, spamming the group with inappropriate messages, using offensive language or promoting agenda irrelevant to this group. )

8) I get to be the 5th sponsored person to endeavor the “mission to space” if I am able to get sponsors for 4 individuals before me. (Yes, that is why I am doing all this. I am in it for the free ride. :) )

9) If space tourism flights do not take place for any reason, (eg. New government regulations etc.), sponsors have the right to replace the “mission to space” sponsorship by anything they see fit, including withdrawing their sponsorship without any consequence. I will not be held liable if such an event occurs. Don't worry I will fight hard for justice.
